Tell us more about working in your local community:
We love meeting members of our local community every day and try to continually give back to local charities. The brand is so supportive towards its franchisees and we love that it’s very family orientated.
Support of local businesses in the community is really important to us, firstly by sharing our coffee with them, but also by participating in events that help raise awareness and funds for charities locally and nationally. For example, in 2017 we participated in the MS Swim-a-thon and raised $1,400 for MS Queensland.
It’s also about our lovely customers, who make our day! We have a favourite customer named Marilyn who is 89 years old. The first time she came in we both commented on her amazing blue hair! She loves to order a Grande Cappuccino with extra, extra froth on top, and we all joke and pretend it’s beer that she is drinking!
When you meet Marilyn, you will instantly fall in love with her. She has become so much a part of our store and deserves a shout out!
